Sarda University, a reputed private sector university in India offers Ph.D. degree programme including agriculture subjects .The students get guidance of district and highly qualified faculty with doctorate and postdoctoral Research experience and excellent track record in teaching in Agriculture area. The minimum duration for Ph.D. degree programme is 3 years. The university offers Ph.D. degree programme in following four agricultural subjects-
PhD in agricultural entomology
PhD in agricultural nematology
PhD in plant breeding and genetics
PhD in horticulture
Eligibility
A candidate must have passed post graduate degree or equivalent of minimum two years duration from University Grant Commission recognized Indian or foreign university in respective subject with minimum score of 55% or equivalent CGPA. A 5% relaxation is allowed for SC, ST and OBC candidates.
Admission Process
Candidates must have to apply online on the university website with application fees of INR 1500 and will have to appear in an online entrance exam followed by an interview, if his or her application is approved by the University. NET or equivalent test passed candidates are exempted from entrance tests and get preference in admission.
